Hello Art Enthusiasts!

Come join us for the 3rd Sunday Art Show in October. Did anyone notice if we had a September this year? Last month flew by. I’ll try to enjoy October and relish the Fall days. This month’s art show is going to be extra fun. Our newest featured artist will be giving a demo of how he makes art with melted crayons! Your kids will enjoy this too. I’ll be doing watercolor journaling, my newest obsession. Stop by and see us!!

SO who is looking forward to the first Fort Smith on Canvas show this 3rd Sunday( Oct 15th) from 1 to 4pm at Michael's Mansion! its me..its ME! am I ready yet? no..but should be. I plan to focus on depicting some of the Unexpected Murals in their environment.. (paintings of paintings in their habitat) plus a few other subjects. Fort Smith and the River Valley is a treasure trove of interesting
images. ALSO looking forward to Ed Importante's demo of melting crayon painting! We will all learn more than a thing or two. It has been a busy busy time for me, creating commission works, doing
shows, selling shipping works..but busy is good, come help me and
other artists stay busy..ps word has it in November there will be a

"The Prince" 3'x4'

Seems it has been a hard time for many this summer with hurricanes and other events. It is at those times that I realize how important it is for us to be surrounded by art. Where would we be if art was taken out of the world? From whimsical and funny art that makes us laugh to beautiful pieces that take our breath away, art offers an escape from trying trials in life. You can relax and for a bit let the mind heal.
We have art from four gifted artists with over 75 years of combined experience to offer at Michael's Mansion. How about taking a piece home to enjoy for years to come? This is not cheap, foreign made stuff, but one of a kind, museum quality, original, art that will last a lifetime. Our artists will be there ready to help you make the right choice for your collection.
