June 2018 Captain Update

Plans are already underway for a fun 2019 event and we are so glad that your team will be participating. All captains were emailed a link to their Team Member Form last month. If you already know who your team members will be, please go ahead and add their names and email addresses to the form. You can also share the link with team members so they can begin adding the other required information. We will begin communications with all team members this fall. Please email us if you need your Team Member Form link again.

Course Changes

There will be a few course changes in 2019 to modify a couple of transition areas and get the route closer to 75 miles.

Our first announcement is that Hotel Domestique will be a new transition area replacing the Callahan Mountain transition. Look for more updates and new course routes to be released over the coming months!

Travel

April is a busy time of year in the Carolinas, so we advise booking your hotel rooms as soon as possible. If you have an early start time in the race, you may want to book a room in Asheville on Friday and Greenville on Saturday.

If your start time is a bit later, it is probably best to plan your whole stay in downtown Greenville. Another option is to stay near Hendersonville, a central location to both Asheville and Greenville. All teams will start between 5-10 am EST.
