Reading to Dogs Helps Kids

The team were delighted to meet a few of our local Story Dogs volunteers when they came to visit the Hospital recently.

We recently teamed up with Story Dogs to improve the literacy skills of local children

We're proud to sponsor Evie the Labradoodle and her owner Susan, together they're one of the teams from Story Dogs. This great organisation helps children across Australia to improve their confidence and literacy through reading to assistance dogs.

The non-judgmental, loving nature of dogs gives this program its magic and helps children relax, open up, try harder and have fun reading to a friendly and calm dog.

The Prahran Vet Kissing Booth saw a steady stream of would-be kissers again during Pet Dental Health Month

We're pleased to see that many of you are taking fantastic care of your pet's teeth. Whilst dental month is over for another year, don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like advice or assistance to help maintain your pet's oral health at anytime. Our nurses can provide lessons in pet tooth brushing as well as tips on the best available dental hygiene products all year round.
