ANNIVERSARY PARTY

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Aspen's 2nd anniversary on Saturday, January 25! We enjoyed open tennis, games, pickleball and delicious food, thanks to Jackie Fry and Katie Wiggam, who catered the event.

LIL' ACES - NEW JUNIOR PROGRAM

This is a new class for our youngest players (ages 3 to 6). The class will provide introduction to tennis and teach ball skills as well as court etiquette in a fun and safe environment.

We have added a weekly "Doubles 100" drill beginning on Saturday, February 1 from 12:30 - 1:30 PM. This new class will cover everything from strategy to formations. Stop at the front desk or see Jim or Brian to sign up.

NEW JUNIOR FLEXIBLE SINGLES LEAGUE

Following the success of the men's and women's singles flexible leagues, we are starting a similar singles league for junior players. This new league will offer players the chance to play on a weekly basis but with added flexibility. A roster of matches will be published weekly and the club has reserved courts for the matches on Sundays from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. If that time does not work on any given week, a match can be arranged for a time more convenient for both players. The league is open to all junior players and the club will match them by ability. Call for more information and to register.

ICE CREAM DAY!

Join us to celebrate our homegrown holiday - Ice Cream Day - on Thursday, February 6 from 4:30 - 9:00 PM. Chase the mid-winter blues away with everyone's favorite summertime treat. Enjoy free ice cream after your game, lesson, or drill or come just because you love icecream as much as we do!

PICKLEBALL

Get in from the cold and join us for pickleball play. We offer open play and group lessons. In addition, you can rent our pickleball courts per hour.

TABLE TENNIS CHALLENGE

It's table tennis challenge time Saturday, February 8 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. Join us for a great social and table tennis experience. Players of all ages and ability are welcome. The cost is $6 for members and $9 for non-members.

Please call the club or sign up at the front desk if you plan to attend - this helps us with planning and running the event more smoothly!

PRESIDENT'S DAY JUNIOR MINI-CAMP

Aspen will be holding a one day mini-camp on Monday, February 17 from 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM. Bring your red, white and blue outfits. Call the club to sign your junior up.

JUNIOR USTA TOURNAMENT

The Wooster Winter Open will be held on Saturday, February 22 & Sunday, February 23. This tournament is for all juniors 18 and under. Contact Jim Nelson or click the link below to register.
