Shine the light & help educate riders on safe cycling after sundown!

Volunteers Needed for 11/03 (Fri) Westside Lights Giveaway

Help people pedal out of the shadows and into the light & safety by volunteering at HBL’s Bike Bright safety event in Wai‘anae on Friday, Nov. 3rd! Volunteers will help get lights on the bikes of “invisible” riders & give out free helmets (while supplies last). All volunteers are welcome :) Brighten a bicycle-rider’s life by signing up to help here.

Equipping your bicycle with good bike lights when riding at night is a very bright idea– not only so you can see & navigate around any obstacles, but more importantly so you can be seen by others that you’re sharing the road with! It’s also required by law when biking in Hawai‘i (read the full law here).✦
