In quilt making Catherine is known for her sense of colour, her love of combining prints, her precise machine piecing, her signature fussy cutting and her expertise in the use of From Marti Michell Perfect Patchwork Templates & Rulers.

Catherine’s workshops are technique oriented. Her aim is to provide students with a practical knowledge of the selected topic and then to inspire them with a broad range of design possibilities.

Jane Davidson (aka Quiltjane) will be in Sydney teaching her Nested Churn Dash Workshop on Sunday 28th September.

Jane discovered the love of quilting over 20 years ago which grew into an obsession and now a business. Jane lives in Brisbane where she works out of her home studio writing patterns, books and designing quilts. Jane is also a very accomplished long arm quilter and has a part time long arm quilting business.

Our very popular School Holiday Classes with Cath Roberts are back!

We have a focus on hand stitching these holidays and have three great creative classes to choose from during the second week of the holidays.

Classes are for children ages 7 and up. Please ensure to pack a couple of snacks and water for the shorter classes and lunch if children are staying for the whole day.

Sock Owl
Monday 29th September 10am - 1pm
Thursday 2nd October 10am - 1pm

Make your own gorgeous owl with socks! Children will use a range of hand stitches to complete their sock & felt creation.
Cost: $35 includes pattern and materials

Embroidery Hoop Necklace
Monday 29th September 1:30pm to 4pm
Thursday 2nd October 1:30pm to 4pm

Children can select from a range of designs and learn embroidery stitches to complete a unique necklace of their own.
Cost $35 includes pattern and materials

Please note: If children are booked in for both Sock Owl & Embroidery Hoop Necklace classes the total cost for the day is only $65.

Design Your Own Softie
Wednesday 1st October 10:30am to 2:30pm

Children can design their own softie on paper and be guided to bring it to life with fabric, felt and other embellishments. If children prefer they can select a design from the book Sew Together Grow Together to create their softie.

Cost: $40 includes materials
