2019 Growing stronger together eNews Header v2

A BIG thank you welcome to our new Premium members 1

Hi Member,

The focus this week is definitely on EXPERTISE - to help grow stronger together in 2019.

Specifically, how you can improve and build on your experstise by taking part in some of the amazing CPD that's available for the veterinary industry this year.

For the last week or so, I've been flat out compiling the What's on in 2019? Veterinary CPD Calendar and I still haven't finished - it really is going to be MASSIVE.

I've also been busy adding in all of the training events from the wonderful companies listed on the right ---------> who took up our PREMIUM Membership with the Vetanswers Community. This means that, amongst lots of other things, all of their training events will be added into both the online and pdf version of the What's on? CPD Calendar with comprehensive listings including logo, hyperlinks and more.

We're very greatful for the companies that join our Business Directory with either a Basic, Practical or Premium Membership, as without them, we couldn't continue to build the Vetanswers Community. You can find out more about our Membership Packages by clicking here...

But that's not all! You'll also find below a Guest Blog Post from WA veterinarian, Hubert Hiemstra who asks: Do vets lack empathy?

There's also a blog Blog Post with some ideas to help you have fun with your clients on Valentine's Day - which btw, is less than 7 days away.

Our aim is to help you - save time, connect & discover!

Enjoy your reading :)

Do Vets Lack Empathy? (Guest Post)

A few years ago I bought a motorbike. I’d never been much of a petrolhead, but I was approaching 40, so… It was a 1975 Honda XL 350, with style and character in spades, but it ran a bit rough, so I took it to a mechanic who specialises in old bikes for a top to bottom service.

How will you celebrate Valentine's Day with your veterinary clients?

Not exactly what you would call a 'romantic'? Valentine's Day offers a great opportunity to connect with your clients. From handing out special messages on the 14th of Feb to sharing fun images on social media...

3 Things I bet you didn't know about... Pet Care Pharmacy

Find out what they're the experts at, what makes them different from their competitors & how they can make your life easier....

VDEC: Improve your feline dentistry skills

Feline Radiology, Analgesia & Oral Surgery Extractions in the Feline

Friday 22 Feb, Veterinary Dental Education Centre (VDEC), Hallam, Vic

A number of companion animals do not receive adequate periodontal homecare and suffer advanced dental pathology that requires oral surgery including extractions. A large number of fractures are not able to be saved by endodontic treatment and require extraction, so analgesia and an easy, less traumatic tooth removal is ideal. This 1-day course will help you to greatly improve your dental skills.
