Minimal And Luxurious Waterproof Plaster

The Hype Over Waterproof Plasters And Why They’re A Must Have

Waterproof plasters aka Tadelakt Moroccan plaster, aka decorative concrete has been used in bathrooms for thousands of years. They’re water resistant quality is ideal for indoors or out, walls, ceilings, and shower enclosures. Over the past few years, their reemergence has sent architects and designers ga ga for more. Here’s why:

1) Craftsmanship. This ancient plaster takes a truly skilled craftsman to install waterproof plaster. In our modern age, personalized service is a true commodity. In my age, I deliver a waterproofed plaster with great personality and smiles for days.

2) Waterproof plaster is unique. The application, the finish, the custom color, all lend to the fact you won’t see the same finish anywhere else. Ever!

3) Hygenic. The plaster finish is so smooth it repels mold and dirt. As a matter of fact, grout will take on all this and more while a waterproof plaster stands above.

4) Minimal yet opulent. Dress it up, dress it down, waterproof plasters can show fabulous in is its most simplistic form or as set off luxurious fixtures, accents, and décor.

5) Multifunctional. Waterproof plasters aren’t just for walls. Ceilings, niches, shelves, sinks, bathtubs, bar tops, countertops are all candidates for waterproof plasters.

6) Cost effective. Although labor intensive and require a skilled installer, waterproof plasters last for centuries, offering an excellent return on your investment. Ask a Moroccan!

7) Truly waterproof. My waterproof plaster has been tested a month submerged under salt water, salt, and wasn't blemished a bit. Astonishing! Because they can be applied seamlessly, waterproof plasters repel water from penetrating into sub surfaces. Furthermore, soap reacts with the plaster’s lime content making it more waterproof as uses go by.

8) Color selection. The sky is the limit, baby! Just pull a Benjamin Moore color and let’s begin!

9) Maintenance. I always preach using a diluted, clear, cleaning solvent as 409 or Mrs. Myers Household Cleaner with a magic eraser for all decorative finishes and plasters. Waterproof plasters are the same. I also recommend an annual re-seal. Consequently, you will see when it’s time to reapply the sealer when the plaster begins to lose its waterproof appearance.

10) Warranty. Worried? Don't be. I have a 10 year warranty on my waterproof plasters.

11) Finding an expert? Too easy! I’m right here at your fingertips. Just give a call and I’m happy to accommodate. PH: 877-651-8495.
