Truck & Treat BOOsted

Truck & Treat BOOsted is Saturday, October 30, Noon to 5 pm at Kaleideum North!

Trick-or-treat in Kaleideum’s Outdoor Science and Environmental Park with BOOsted fun, including weird science, balloon artist, trucks, food, entertainment, and more spooktacular experiences!

Buy your tickets before 4 pm on October 29 and get a discount!

Adults: $5 online; $7 day of. Youth 1-19: $5 online; $7 day of. Children under 1 free. Museums for All price (with presentation of EBT card) is $3 per person and may be purchased at Welcome Desk the day of the event.

Kindergarten Open House at New Garden Friends School

Join teachers and staff on the playground at New Garden Friends School for their “Fall in Love with Kindergarten” event on Saturday, October 16! Siblings are welcome to attend.

At NGFS, learning matters and so does fresh air and time to play. Children are given the space to create, negotiate, pretend, immerse themselves in imaginative play, and engage with the natural world. Come out and play, and learn more about kindergarten at NGFS! Register here.

2021 Ghoulash Virtual Costume Contest

Greensboro Youth Council is hosting the 2021 Ghoulash Virtual Costume Contest, October 11-24. This virtual contest will be on the Greensboro Parks and Recreation’s Facebook page. To participate, simply comment with a photo of you in costume to the Facebook post. GYC members will judge on “Best Children’s Costume” and “Best Family Costume.”

Facebook users will “like” their favorite photo submissions, and the most “liked” submission will determine the “Fan Favorite” winner. Winners announced on October 30th.
