With Love & Gratitude...

After 10 years of being involved with City Repair, I am stepping away to follow other paths of service to communities and to the Land. In my time here I have learned so much, made amazing friendships, and worked on impactful projects. Thank you all for everything you shared with me.

Our team recently wrote an annual report for 2021, and I felt such joy reviewing the work we accomplished, the diverse communities we supported, and our village of people and skills that made it all possible!

Our team also just released a report on our collaboration with the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) and Vida En Color on a summer project, and response to the pandemic, of painting plazas in parking spaces and streets for businesses and community events to have outdoor space for activities. Click here to read the report! Big thanks to Greg Raisman as the PBOT Program Manager (and for all of Greg’s years of helping placemaking in Portland!) , and also special thanks to the C/AN Design Studio team, An Nguyen and Collin O’Neill, who stepped up to co-manage the program in City Repair alongside me.

With me leaving, City Repair currently has no staff for day-to-day operations, and the board of directors is working on what comes next for the organization. Please send inquiries to info@cityrepair.org and the organization will get back to you as soon as possible, but please have patience as City Repair moves through this transition.

With love and gratitude, goodbye, and may our paths cross again!
