And the good news keeps on coming! We are extremely proud of Sonia Jones Travel's victory in the 2024 Australian Small Business Champion Awards.
The awards celebrate both the achievements and the considerable economic, social, and cultural contribution of the 2.5 million small business operators nationwide. This year marked the Award's 26th year, boasting a record-breaking 5,500 submissions, that showcased the resilience and adaptability of small businesses in challenging times.
Amidst stiff competition, Sonia Jones Travel emerged as the sole Champion in the Travel Agency category, garnering acclaim for our commitment to crafting tailored travel itineraries that cater to each client's preferences, interests, and budget.
Sonia shared a few words at the Awards' National Presentation last Saturday evening that sum up SJT's journey over the last decade:
"10 years ago, SJT consisted of me (Sonia), my laptop and a list of cafes who were happy to have a travel agent popping in and out to see her clients. Today we are a team of five with a beautiful retail space. We continue to break our own records and have rebuilt from the pandemic as a strong, professional, customer-centric, highly-tailored travel agency with an exceptional reputation.
