Hello! Happy Weekend!

We've been spending some time at my parents' home in South Dakota this week, along with my sister Jessica's family. It always feels good to get away from home for a few days and catch up with everyone. (While trying to ignore the emails from the school about school starting in a few weeks...waaaaahhhhh!)

My Favorite Things this week... I have had this blender (link HERE) on my wish list for a couple years, and was so happy to receive one recently for our family to use and review. And can I just say? It's like we went from a Chevette to a Corvette, comparing the blender Blake and I bought when we were first married to this new one. Yes, it has a lofty price tag. Thus, the reason it had been sitting on my wish list that long. But if you use a blender alot, and want to make super smooth sauces and crush ice effortlessly, I can definitely say we are loving it so far. This machine is quiet and super powerful, and just plain amazing. We've also been trying out the cup attachment and travel cups (link HERE), which work great for making individual smoothies and other smaller-sized mixes. These work so flawlessly, that we often find our girls making their own smoothies. WITHOUT needing our help.

CRUMBS: What We Made Recently
