Look at All That's New at GHF!

GHF continually strives to increase our outreach and advocacy efforts, as well as increase benefits for our Supporting Members.

In just the past few months, we've added new benefits for Supporting Members, partnered with several of our Institutional Members, published more GHF Press titles, opened enrollment for the fall session of GHF Online, added new resources to our Local and Regional Support and our Favorite Things pages, and provided the latest information on giftedness and twice-exceptionalities. We continue to recommend resources we think you'll love and bring you stories from families just like yours.

GHF Press Releases Two New Titles!

Our publishing arm has been busy publishing new books for gifted and 2e families.

In addition to Educating Your Gifted Child: How One Public School Teacher Embraced Homeschooling, released in March of this year, we added Wes Beach's new book, Self-Directed Learning: Documentation and Life Stories. Wes Beach, author of Forging Paths: Beyond Traditional Schooling, shares stories of real people who have taken control of their learning and gone on to successful, fulfilling lives. He explains how to create your own transcripts and provides examples of actual transcripts that have been accepted at colleges and universities throughout the country.

Pamela Price's much anticipated second book, Gifted, Bullied, Resilient: A Brief Guide for Smart Famlies came out in July. In her second book, Pamela Price, author of How to Work and Homeschool: Practical Advice, Tips, and Strategies from Parents, addresses the emotional issue of bullying in the gifted and 2e community. She gives practical tips for dealing with the bullying and helping children become stronger and more compassionate.

Look for more titles coming in the second half of 2015!
