Is any of the gear a beer running vest, with beer ? That would be an awesome gear addition and I know I'm going to be thirsty when I finish running the Mendocino Coast 50K on April 23rd. That trail run will be an inaugural event for the North coast and it will also be a first for me. It will be the longest run I've done... and I can feel the adrenaline drip starting.
The course description is what I consider a dream for my first Ultra with the coast to the redwoods run ending back at the Big River starting point. However, the elevation maps are somewhat intimidating to me. There are several steep ascents in the first half of the course that exceed any trails at Lake Sonoma where I regularly run and train. I've only recently learned there's a difference between the two. So, I suppose I need to spend more time training on John's, Cardiac Hill while breaking in my Luna Oso's that I hope to wear for this run.

Frank will be running his longest run yet—The Mendocino Coast 50K this April. His adrenaline is already pumping…..just like he’s hoping the beer will be when he finishes! We hope to see him sporting his HRC gear as he tackles those steep ascents and finishes his dream race!
