Heather Bailey has gone retro with her newest range of fabrics for Free Spirit. Take your personal style to the next level with the throwback style of Momentum. Go bold with striking fashion prints in a very wearable palette of emerald, mint, navy, gold and ruby. Designed with clothing in mind, the Momentum collection evokes a vintage vibe with modern colors and prints that combine for easy, confident style. Make a blouse, make a skirt, make a dress—make a statement. Think '60s advertising agency.

Next we have the wonderfully drapey Momentum Rayons! There are different colorations here of some crossover patterns that you're going to love; the ikats are striking in navy and gold, the dots are bold in size but subtle in color, and the factor design is a great choice for those looking for an understated option. If you're looking for something flowy to carry your wardrobe into fall, Head over to Elle Apparel for her tutorial for making that gorgeous Kimono Cardigan above!

Some of these floral prints would be absolutely perfect for a new outfit! We're thinking some leggings for your girl's wardrobe. Check out this Super Simple Leggings tutorial from Make It & Love It. There are some great tips about sewing with knits in there too! For the boys, how about a Baby Ringer Onesie tutorial from Shwin & Shwin? I can imagine those Oh Boy knits as one of these already! We have many of the Andover Chambray colors now back in stock as well! With their signature different colored threads in the warp and weft of the weave (say that 3 x's fast!) these add a wonderfully subtle bit of visual interest to your pieces.

As you can see, chambray is a great choice both for clothing and quilting. Thanks to Cut Cut Sew for sharing her dress in our shop! She used Made by Rae's Josephine Dress Pattern and this Chambray in Black. And I love the way the chambray background off sets the luminous Field Day Fabrics in the piece above from Silly Mama Quilts, using this Color Plus Quilt Pattern.
