Wishing you joy and bounty in this holiday season!

"For me, I think everybody with half a heart tries to do their best to do their part of good during the holiday season." -Darren Criss

Cool Max copy

Cool Max, oil on canvas, 24" x 18"

Cool Max received Special Recognition from Light Space & Time Gallery in their All Women Exhibition.

My figurative paintings, many based on family photographs, offer a stylized impression of the subjects. A little boy is portrayed in a playful manner. While tastes and fashions do change, the most basic of human needs, desires and dreams are timeless.

Red Intersections Quartered

Old Town Center, acrylic on canvas, 24" x 36"

Welford, Summer Fields, Czech Republic, Magenta Intersections, Quartered, and Midtown NYC Rooftops, have been accepted into the Annual Bold/Subtle Juried International Art Exhibition at Upstream People Gallery.

The flattened shapes are rendered in an all-over pattern. The vibrant shades of green and blue enhance the composition.

Suburb with Roads 11 x 14.5

Suburb with Roads, 11”x14.5”, silkscreen on paper

Suburb with Roads, received Special Merit from Light Space & Time Gallery in their All Women 2016 Art Exhibition.

My silkscreens are my paintings close cousins, only in a smaller format and using a different medium. Projecting my interpretation of the same concept and approach, they are executed in a variety of serigraphy methods from digital design to hand drawing that produce multicolored images.

Open Field Cultivation revised 72

Bruges, Belgium, acrylic on canvas,18"x24"

Intersection, Quartered, acrylic on canvas, 30" x 30"
Intersection, Quartered along with Open Field Cultivation, View from Macu Tower and Amusement Parkhave been accepted for inclusion in the Abstracts Theme juried show at the Contemporary Art Gallery Online.

The highways seen from above are the linear design element of the painting. By dissecting them into four parts the roads are further abstracted.
