This month we are introducing one of our newest staff members, Anton Pintar. Anton graduated from Hancock High School in 1981. He attended MTU with a focus on computer programming, and also performed software programming work while serving in the USAF (Germany) and at Delfin Systems (California). Anton relocated back to the Copper Country and transitioned to working in the IT support field working at Strategic Solutions, CLK Schools, Computer Mechanix and now REMC1. Welcome Anton!

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month. Information is available on how to keep your school and its students safe #cyberaware.

Michigan Learns Online has many resources:
* Teaching & study tools, sites & apps from the Political Parties & Politics Unit
* Free Audio Recording & Podcasting Unit w/ tips on Audacity, MP3, scaffolds, podcasts & websites.
* Basic Scratch resources such as videos & websites on using this encoding tool.

MeL is a great place for Michigan Teachers to find classroom resources. They have just recently launched MeL Teachers which offers eight centers that will help with site navigation and make important information easier to access.
