STORY OF THE NIGHT:
DR. LEWIS & HER SUPPORTERS' IMPACT
The major story of the night was undoubtedly, Dr. Leslyn Lewis's performance. The family values vote that she, and Derek Sloan, attracted was once again, the game changer. Commentators were pointing out that the base of the Party has sent a clear message, that they do not want a "Liberal Light" party but rather one that holds fast to conservative values both fiscally and socially.
That means many of YOU were the game changers.
In addition, at the point in which she fell off, she actually had more of the popular vote than both Erin O'Toole and Peter MacKay.
This cannot be ignored and is a huge win for all those who resonate with her values and tone of politics.
There is no doubt that Dr. Leslyn Lewis and her supporters have changed the political landscape of the nation because of last night's results. There is also no doubt that she will continue to have a major impact on the Party and the nation going forward.
