Homestyle Lentil Soup

I'm not sure if the season is starting to change or if I've just been hoping it's changing, but I'm back to making soups again after taking a break from them over the summer. My first new one is this Homestyle Lentil Soup, which is flavored like beef stew but without any bull. If you like the savory flavors of thyme, sage, and rosemary, you'll love it.

Piled High McDougall Style Hash Browns

On Plant-Based Slow-Motion Miracle:

Maria continues her series on food dehydrating with Bacon Style Eggplant Chips. And don't miss her Piled High McDougall Style Hash Browns. What they're piled high with is pesto, nori, black beans, and tomatoes.

Something to Stew About

With fall on its way, it's time to warm up with hearty soups and stews. Here are a few of my autumn favorites:

Sweet Potato, Okra, and Chickpea Gumbo

Black and Red Lentil Chili

Gold Rush Chili

White Bean and Garlic Stew

For more delicious stews, check out my archive of Stew and Chili Recipes.

Enjoy the season!
