We are looking for faith-filled volunteers to serve our students on Sundays and Wednesdays! We put people in teams to help lead the lesson, craft, and snack...and have FUN! Students that are now in 1st and 5th grades will be moving up to the next age group! | 2022 Directory Family Information Form CGCC and CLC have been working toward updating information in order to produce a "Serving Together" Family Directory. We now have some nifty info cards for you to fill out. These will help us to be sure we have all pertinent contact info as well as birthdays and anniversaries. These cards can be spotted as soon as you enter the Great Room from the foyer, on the Library Table. Please take one home or fill one out at church and then return it to the front desk. Still worshiping with us on Sundays from home? Please feel free to send in your information by email. We ask that you turn in your card by September 26. Mike Ashby and the GG crew are building clothing racks. Things are moving along in preparation for the Annual Giveaway! Another busy week here, as we transition from August to September. This week, we baked zucchini bread, removed fences, cleaned up in the corn field, weeded out front, worked on CSA, took a nature walk, and had a butterfly release. As the end of the growing season draws near, we are starting to prepare for winter all around the gardens and fields. Join Deb and John at the village for a hands on lesson from fire starting to enjoying a delicious, rewarding meal. Meet behind the barn, starting at 9am, where they will be teaching you how to dig the hole and to get the charcoals ready for optimum cooking. Participants are encouraged to bring a Dutch Oven and ingredients for what they would like to prepare. Charcoal will be provided and we do have a couple Dutch ovens.
