He is not only our teacher, but also our Lord. Jesus still invites us to be His disciples (even children!), and choosing to follow Him means we can have a big impact on our world. Grab your kid(s) and spend 25 minutes together singing, dancing, laughing, and learning! We would love for you to also have your child(ren) memorize this week's scripture verse and motions and upload a video of them in the comment section under the video on the CLC Facebook page! We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "Sun is shining here in Ohio. Still a little cold but the sunshine seems to make things a little better. Which transitions right into my Word for the week." “LIGHT” – one definition I found I love – to become or cause to become animated or cheerful. Wow, that says it all! We are God’s “light.” We are to be “light” to all we meet. We can be a “light” in so many ways. We can be “light” to someone with our encouraging words and deeds. We can be “light” to those who may need prayer. “Light” can reflect off us and cause darkness to disappear. We can stand in a dark place and strike a match and instantly “light” changes the atmosphere. Oh, I pray our “light” will change someone’s atmosphere. We are to be a “light” that should not be hidden. Let us shine our “light” for all to see. Let us use our “light” for that divine appointment God has in store for us. We can let our “light” shine to guide others to the hope and healing that is in Christ Jesus. Let us shine our “light” to be a testimony of God’s blessings, protection, and goodness to others. Shine bright beacons of “light.” "I pray the Holy Spirit teaches us more ways to shine our “light” to others. Have a blessed week." Do everything readily and cheerfully -- no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I will have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. You will be living proof that I didn’t go to all this work for nothing. ~ Philippians 2:15-16 (MSG) | Plastic Grocery Bags for the Food Pantry If you have a stash of plastic grocery bags you no longer need, we can help you put them to good use!
