It's been a while since we got to present the Los Angeles community with such a monumental moment in music and television history! Luke Cage is said to be the, "most important television show of 2016" - TV Guide and has received nothing but rave reviews from every press outlet in the country.

The music is so important to Luke Cage, Time Magazine referred to the music as its own character in the show. Seeing how important the music is to the series, we decided to roll up our sleeves, with the help of Beats and The Theatre at Ace Hotel, to bring you a never before seen or heard experience.

Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge scored every episode playing the majority of the instruments on each cue. They also recorded on 2' tape and totally analog. Then, the guys linked up with Miguel Atwood-Ferguson to orchestrate and conduct a 30 piece orchestra on top of their compositions. The result is insane.

This concert is the first time that Adrian Younge, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Venice Dawn and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson all take a stage together and collectively perform the music. In total, its a 40 piece orchestra with all of the bells and whistles.
