Thank you for helping us serve our community.

Over the years, we’ve provided free and reduced-cost tennis programming to families across the City of Memphis. From local elderly players participating in our Senior League to the children who receive tennis instruction and tutoring help after school, our programs are inclusive, diverse and fun! And we couldn’t do it without you – your time, your donations and your dedication to spreading the word about Tennis Memphis is invaluable. Thank you for your continued support!

Meet coach Joe Shidler.

Coach Joe has been teaching tennis since high school and coaching full-time across the Mid-South over the past few years. Prior to Tennis Memphis, he played tennis for Northwest Mississippi Community College, where he was a state finalist along with ranking as the 27th best player in the region of the MACCC. Joe also played singles and doubles on a team that ranked in the top 20 in the nation. After graduating from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, where he played college basketball for three years, Coach Joe worked in the medical field serving people during the pandemic.
