Every time a baby is born a mother is too. This session will explore how professional counseling can help women recover from postpartum disorders and successfully integrate their new identity as confident and healthy mothers. Led by Dr. Cara English, founder of Terra's Place and Licensed Professional Counselor Jennifer Kizer.

How Was Your Postpartum, Really?

Come to our safe and intimate gathering, where mothers can be truly heard by other mothers. In paired sharing, we will speak freely about our postpartum experience, and then give the gift of listening without judgement to another. Led by Jennifer Hoeprich, CPM, CMT, a home birth midwife, meditation teacher, and women’s circle facilitator.

What I Really Needed

Using storytelling, childbirth educator and doula Lakisa Mohammed will explore the question, “What did I really need after I had a baby?” Participants will be asked to actively participate and will leave with a resource list that they helped to create.
