She will be stopping by soon to donate for next fall! | Reach Out to Someone You Know! Looking for a way to invite a friend or family member to come to church? A special guest speaker, like Greg Bowman this Sunday, can be a great way to introduce the topic of a church visit! Nevertheless, not everyone is comfortable with their first visit to a church occurring for Sunday Worship. Sometimes a special event is what opens that door. (Note: Did you know that, on average, people need to receive six invitations before attending church or events? Don't be disheartened, just keep inviting!) Now is a great time to reach out and invite folks to our February events ~ Sip & Paint, Soup Luncheon, and Ladies Tea ~ or even to look toward Outreach's March and April plans. We have a Family Movie Night on March 1st (*Please vote for your movie choice on the bulletin board.), Family Game Night on March 16th, and a Crochet Class on April 6th. Check out the bulletin board for more details. | Youngstown's Needle's Eye Last Sunday's Worship was led by Emaline Smith, executive director of the Needle's Eye Christian Life Center. It was powerful, timely, and full of encouragement! Her inspiring words included: ▪ If you are breathing, do something! Encourage one another. ▪ Step up. You were chosen. You have everything you need. ▪ Train your thinking. ▪ You need to know who you are and walk in that. Nobody can take what God put in you! ▪ It's not your circumstance, it's how you react to that circumstance. ▪ Don't give up. You are chosen. You're made for your journey. You have power within you. ▪ If the only time you spend with God is when you are here, you're in trouble. You need to spend time with Him to know Him. ▪ No matter what you are going through in life, know you will survive because you were meant for that journey and God knows you can handle it. ▪ | If you are breathing, do something! She said that she felt led to tell us to be encouraged, and she certainly did that!
