It's Springtime & the Preseason Is Here!

Picture111

Spring is here and it's time to dust off the pedals and get back in the saddle! This year will be bigger and better – and more fun – than ever before!

Registration for the new season is open and all coaches and parents/guardians of student-athletes active in 2021 received an email last month with a custom link. Using the link ensures all information will carry over from prior years. If you do not use this link your data will not transfer.

If your custom link has expired, or you were unable to complete registration the first time through, you can complete registration through the universal registration page.

We have created step-by-step guides, complete with screenshots, to help you navigate the registration process.

For questions or additional information email us at info@arizonacycling.org.

ACA Rulebook 2022 Cover

Team Training Limits

There are strict training limits for ACA teams and clubs during the preseason (April 1 through June 30). These limits protect student-athletes and create a supportive environment, as well as reduce exposure to physical risk and burnout. While the ACA is 100% committed to supporting its student-athletes and coaches who suffer injuries, insurance coverage applies only to the allowable activities described the rulebook. Please complete the Preseason Activity Approval Form at least five (5) days in advance of the first activity.

Remember, your team is not covered by the ACA's insurance until team registration is completed. Coaches must be licensed and riders must registered in CCN prior to participating in team activities.

Leadership Summit & MTB Skills Training

0B6A0717

Our second of two Leadership Summit and MTB Skills Training conferences this spring is coming up May 14-15 at Emmanuel Pines in Prescott. Attending the event forms the foundation of our coach license program and is an ideal opportunity for both new and seasoned coaches to connect and share thoughts. It's the perfect environment to get charged up for the upcoming season.

New Sponsors!

The ACA has several new sponsors for 2022. You may have picked up on them from social media posts, but we'd like to formally welcome Hammer Nutrition, U. S. Air Force Special Warfare, Trek Bicycle, Lazer, MTN BIKING LIFE and Trail Manos to the team this year.

Returning league sponsors include: Pivot Cycles, DNA Cycling, Shimano, Epic Rides, MBAA, Strike Visuals, Trek Bicycle Store West Phoenix, USA Cycling, ESI Grips, Fort Lewis College and Squirt Cycling Products.

These companies provide the ACA with the support we need to improve the lives of our student-athletes. Please support the companies that support the ACA!
