Kalamazoo County Community-Wide Parent Cafe

Parent Cafés are gatherings where parents and caregivers talk about the challenges and victories of raising a family. Through group conversations, participants explore their strengths and create strategies to help strengthen their own families.

Explore your 5 Protective Factors in a caring and supportive family gathering:
* Parent Resilience
* Social Connections
* Concrete Support in Times of Need
* Knowledge of Parenting and Child Development
* Social and Emotional Competence

“What I love about Cafés are that they set the tone from the beginning that everyone is equal... Everybody is learning, and everyone feels comfortable to open up.”
