Dear Praying Friends,

Today begins 21 days of intentional consecration, prayer and fasting (from Sept. 5th - 25th), right up to the Day of Atonement.

Thank you for registering to participate. Over the next three weeks, our team will serve this fast by writing daily directives for your consideration. We pray this is a blessing to you.

DAY 1: CREATE IN ME A CLEAN HEART

Bible Verse: Psalm 51:10-12

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

As we begin this fast, let us start by reflecting on our hearts before the Lord. Consider asking the Lord to show you if there is anything you need to repent of, forgive someone for, or make right with Him or someone else. Doing this will help us ensure there are no hindrances as we approach Him in prayer.

Hebrews 4:16 says that when we come close to Him, seeking forgiveness of our sins by the power of the shed Blood of the Lamb, this will allow us to approach him boldly.

Let us begin this fast by intentionally humbling ourselves before him. Once you do this, go boldly before Him in prayer for our nation, your family and loved ones and your own life.
