Saturday's fun-filled year-end tourney brought to an end another successful Jack Rabbit and Learn to Ski program season! This year's programs included 88 young skiers between the ages of 3 and 12. A huge thank you goes out to all of the volunteer coaches without whom this program would not be possible. They generously give their time and passion to teach the next generation of skiers.

This year's coaches and assistant coaches included: Alexandra Apedaile, Deb Hughes, Lucinda Gullison, Emmy Stapff, Michelle Nagle, Callie Nagle, Jon Hockin, Odette Lemay, Jennifer Winter, Brenda Blakely, Jeff Hooker, Malaika Ulmi, Sophia Sauter, Jessica Reynolds, Heather Clarke, and Samuel Johnson. Our gratitude and thanks go out to them for the time they give to our young skiers!

A special thank you also goes out to our Junior racers who were actively involved with coaching this season as well as running many of the stations at the year-end tourney. It was amazing to have their help and youthful energy!

We are always looking for new coaches and program volunteers. If you would like to share your love for skiing with young skiers next season, please email Jennifer Winter for more information.

CIBC Wood Gundy XC Ski School Program

We had close to 900 students go through the program this winter with most visiting the mountain three times. That is a lot of fun to be had and organization to be done. Thanks to Ang Nadler and her wonderful team for making all of this happend so smoothly.

Some more great feedback below from one of our many schools that participated in the ski school program this year. Thanks to Todd Luoma, Strathcona Nordic club member and teacher of grade 6/7 English students at Phoenix in Campbell River.
