Catholic Charities would like to invite you to their annual Partners in Hope Dinner. This is an amazing annual event where all funds raised will directly provide assistance to the most poor and vulnerable in our community. It is an inspiring evening where you will be amazed at the difference Catholic Charities is making right in your own backyard.

The event will take place at the Benton Convention Center on Thursday, March 9th, with a reception beginning at 5:30pm, and dinner at 6:30pm. Registration for the event is complimentary. Please RSVP here. You can view a video and see more info here.

Little Blank Canvas

Located at the heart of the Triad, this Award Winning Art Studio offers an interactive art and digital curriculum with creative and fun lessons for children of all ages. Their newest Digital Division offers hands on game development, computer graphics and animation programs using industry standard software and technology.

In addition to their art and media programs, the studio also provides Art and Digital camps during summer, winter and spring break, with events on Fridays including kid’s night out and Digital Jam Sessions where kids can explore their digital programs and get more familiar with each course.

Where’s the Snow? At the Children’s Museum and SciWorks

Spend an “icy” day and evening at the Museums on Saturday, January 28!

Bring the family to SciWorks for Frozen Science Fun Day from 1 to 4 pm. Create a snowstorm in a test tube, make instant snow, experiment with dry ice, and visit with Elsa and Anna! Included with Museum admission; free for members.

During the evening, play in the Children’s Museum … WITHOUT kids! Storybook Shindig: On the Rocks is a 21 and up night from 6 to 9 pm. Enjoy beers from local breweries, giant games, and sock-skating in Ice Venture. Admission is $15 and includes three drink tickets. A food truck will be on-site for dinner purchases.
