Hey y’all! It’s me, Brenda from Meal Planning Magic. You’re receiving this email newsletter because you signed up--maybe a while ago--to receive an extra weekly email where I share a little bit about meal planning, seasonal content I think you might enjoy and a little bit more about me.

I've been a busy bee this last week! Catching up on lots of to dos on my blog. Mostly backend stuff but I'm working on adding nutrition information to all my recipes and also cleaning up old posts a bit. I'm hoping to get a few other projects rolled out over the next few months too based on what YOU'RE asking for from my recent survey (p.s. click here if you haven't take it yet!)

Also, welcome to all the new subscribers this week! Some of you that have been receiving my emails only when I post a new recipe have come here to get weekly inspiration as I'll be phasing out my RSS feed emails by February 1st. I hope you like what you see!

On The Blog - Slow Cooker Mini Meatball Noodle Soup and a Challenge

Colder than usual temperatures and the cold blast that is supposed to hit the U.S. this weekend has me in the mood to make lots of soup. This week I'm making one of my favorites: Slow Cooker Mini Meatball Noodle Soup. I love that it can be a double make ahead recipe. You can assemble and cook the meatballs ahead of time (and freeze if you like) then add everything together when you're ready to cook it. So, so easy!

Weekly Menu Plan

Some of y'all may remember that for years, I would publish my weekly dinner plan on my blog every Monday. I stopped doing that a couple of years ago but I've heard from many people that they miss it! So I'm adding it back but to this email instead!
As I get more organized, I'll hopefully have breakfast, lunch or snack ideas included too.

Here's what's on our dinner menu plan for this week:

Week of January 13, 2019
Sunday - Old Fashioned Mini Meatloaves, scalloped potatoes and bacon green beans
Monday - Slow Cooker Steak and Chicken Fajitas and fixings (including bell peppers and onions made in the slow cooker)
Tuesday - Slow Cooker Mini Meatball Noodle Soup
Wednesday - Chicken Tortilla, Black Bean and Rice Soup with sliced avocados
Thursday - Leftovers
Friday - YoYo (You're On You're Own-- usually leftovers or my teens are out with friends so I often don't plan much)
Saturday - Homemade Slowcooker Spaghetti Sauce and pasta plus a garden salad

Looks like my slowcooker is getting a workout this week!

What I'm Listening To - The Splendid Table
