Baby it's cold outside, so I'm sharing a couple of knitwear refashioning projects from the blog archives that are perfect for transforming your Winter wardrobe.
Easy Cable Knit Skirt
The sweater I’ve refashioned here was once a sad, shapeless and unloved acrylic sack, passed onto me by a family friend who no longer had a need for it. She knew that I like to felt knitwear, so thought it would be useful for one of my projects. Because acrylic doesn’t felt, it has sat around my sewing room waiting to be remade into something wearable.
Now that the weather is cooling down in Melbourne, it was the perfect opportunity to refashion the sweater into an Easy Cable Knit Skirt.

Hooded Scarf from and Old Jumper
I found at the Op-shop a while ago, It had a hood, so I had a brain wave to incorporate the hood into the scarf to make it even cozier.
It’s a pretty simple project which only requires basic sewing skills. I’ve given some measurements for the hood at the end, just in case you haven’t got a hood on your jumper and want to make your own.
