"It always amazes me to look at the little, wrinkled brown seeds and think of the rainbows in 'em," said Captain Jim. "When I ponder on them seeds I don't find it nowise hard to believe that we've got souls that'll live in other worlds. You couldn't hardly believe there was life in them tiny things, some no bigger than grains of dust, let alone colour and scent, if you hadn't seen the miracle, could you?"
With these nice long summer days, we’ll be open until 7:00 pm starting June 15. If you need something outside our regular business hours, please let us know and we’ll do what we can to accommodate you.

Upcoming Event
Atina and Martin Diffley, Organic Farming Works, have been invited to give a presentation in Lethbridge on Wednesday, August 26. Room PE 264 at the University of Lethbridge has been booked for this event.
Atina’s book, Turn Here Sweet Corn, reads like a novel, except no author would ever make her characters work as hard as these folks have in real life. I like what Marion Nestle, author of What to Eat, says: “Turn Here Sweet Corn is an unexpected page-turner. Atina Diffley’s compelling account of her life as a Minnesota organic farmer is deeply moving not only from a personal standpoint but also from the political. Diffley reveals the evident difficulties of small-scale organic farming but is inspirational about its value to people and the planet.”
You’ll have the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the Diffleys – an opportunity not to be missed.
Down on the Farm
