Storytime is taking a break!

Storytime banner

Our Thursday and Saturday Storytime will be taking a break during August, although if Annie is here just say "I'd like to hear a story, please" and she will be happy to oblige!

Storytime returns in September with not one, not two, but THREE guest author storytellers!
We are looking forward to welcoming Yuval Zommer (The Big Blue Thing on the Hill) on Saturday 6th September, Annie Bogie (Happy Hooves, Ta Dah!) on Thursday 11th September, and Loretta d'Souza (Talk to the Paw Cos The Cat's Not Listening) on Saturday 13th September.

Reserve your free seat at any of the author Storytimes online.

Plus, there will lots of lovely new Autumn picture books getting their Storytime debuts. Every Thursday and Saturday from 11am-noon, feel free to drop in for stories and activities.

Nickolas Butler September 16th

On his extremely whistlestop tour of England on the way back to Wisconsin from the Festival America in Paris, Nickolas Butler will be doing his only UK bookshop visit right here at Dulwich Books.

Shotgun Lovesongs is his debut novel, and he is part of Picador's incredible offering of new authors. They just keep finding them! Shotgun Lovesongs is my favourite book I have read in ages, quiet, sweet and melancholy. I was terribly sad to finish it and very much looking forward to re-reading before the event!

You can watch a short video interview with Nickolas here, if you want to get an idea of what you might be in for.

You can buy tickets online, at £3 for entry, or £10 if you want to get a hardback copy of the book at the same time. Bargain!
As ever, you can phone, email or call in to get tickets as well.
