Lunch for Amanda & Justin is this Sunday!

Please join us for a happy send off for this wonderful couple!

We will have a luncheon for Amanda & Justin Crice this Sunday, May 22 after worship to thank them for three years of service and to wish them well on the next step in their journey! We will certainly miss Amanda's leadership with the children and youth, but we're very happy for her progress in her ministry!

RaiseRoof

Annual Conference Special Offering

Methodists across North Georgia are Raising the Roof about poverty, hunger and homelessness. Will you join us?

On any given night in Georgia, there are thousands of people facing homelessness. In Georgia, we have the second highest rate of homeless veterans in the U.S., and we are in the top 10 for overall poverty rates in the nation. About 1 million of our kids are considered food-insecure.

With the help of the NGUMC Annual Conference special offering, Action Ministries can Raise the Roof over the heads of families in need, providing them with the foundational pillars of hunger relief, housing and educational opportunities. Action Ministries is hoping to raise $250,000, which can be leveraged to lead 100 families out of poverty by providing safe, stable housing and wraparound services to ensure they have the skills they need to maintain their independence.

If you would like to SERVE by giving to the special offering, please mark your gift as "AC offering" or "Raise the Roof".

Looking for a new SERVE Opportunity?

Do you like technology? We have two new tech SERVE opportunities at IPUMC!

We have a new sound system in the sanctuary, so we need people to SERVE by learning how to operate it so we can hear Rev. Max on Sunday mornings. We also need people to SERVE by filming Rev. Max's sermons on Sunday mornings and helping us format the videos so we can post them on Youtube and our website.

Reply to this email if you'd like to SERVE in our "tech department"!
