Hello !!

A new year...a time of possibility...that's what this photo makes me think of. While doing cartwheels may not be high on the list, no doubt there are some things you'd like to experience/do/see/feel this year. Living more mindfully is on my list. That way, I'm more likely to be awake to the possibilities.

What's your new year's hope? Best wishes for health and happiness as you pursue it!

Gratitude is always present during this time of year: reflecting on the year's blessings, hearing from friends, spending time with loved ones, witnessing the shift from darkness to increasing light, welcoming a new year. You may have seen this short meditative video from Benedictine Brother David Steindl-Rast. I've seen it a few times and it never fails to remind me of the many blessings of being alive. Take five minutes and and have a good day -- and a good year!
