Greetings from the heart of China, I'm in my wife's home town in Jiangxi Province.

Last week I was telling you about how much the Chinese love Europe and how the European lifestyle is much admired. You can read about it here.

Even here far from urban intellectual elites of the big city.. People are surprisingly interested in Brexit, and quite well informed. I'm often quizzed about my thoughts. The big item in the news was the divorce bill the UK will have to pay. Have we gone mad? they ask.. universally they think we have.

So Mrs May has done the deed and the genie is out of the bottle. So we have to make the best of it.. No good moaning about it right.
We have to move on..

So that's what we have been doing.. long hours, organising planning, our expansion to Europe. Our warehouse in Slovakia, right on the border with Austria, not far from Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland and Italy about 250 million people within next day delivery. That's a big market, why didn't we think about this before?
It's practically a signed deal. I will be there in a few weeks. But oh so much work..

Meanwhile it's really busy in Sheffield, maybe it's the Brexit effect, focusing europeans minds on the UK, but our export sales to europe are booming. Thank you Nigel :)
Mrs May - said it was time to move on.. we are.. to Slovakia :)

But.. we are far from leaving Sheffield don't panic, we are also making a major investment in our factory going on right now, this weekend the factory fitters are laying new floors and upgrading us. We are increasing capacity of bath bombs three fold, and hoping to double everything else. It's all go.

So Mother's Day is over.. shortly will it be Easter.
It's the wedding season then, and through to Father's Day in June, lots of gift selling opportunities ahead..

Just a heads up, we have a container arriving on Monday, the last container in January sold out in three days.. by the time you read this I think they will be online, so if you want to ensure some stock. Now is good :)

So I have been back in time..

This was heated in a big bowl heated by burning twigs, and the herbs added, after a bit the milk magically turned to a thick dough substance.

Then we made cornish pastry shaped dumplings with fermented cabbage inside. Later these were steamed. It took four hours from start to finish.

They made three of those big baskets enough to feed the village. I ate just two of those things and was stuffed - very thick, sour and sticky. I'm afraid I had to pretend to like them :-) .. but everyone else did.

So I'm back to Yiwu City tomorrow, when you are reading this we will possibly be on the super fast train, carrying big bag of dumplings - it's 500 kilometers and takes well under 2 hours. And with airline standard service and comfortable seats. From the ancient past to an ultra modern current day - only in China.
