Departing from Brisbane, you'll fly to Longreach where you'll spend two nights exploring the gateway to the outback, before discovering the dinosaurs at Winton enroute to the central Queensland mining town of Mount Isa. Here you'll visit a mine, the Underground Hospital and enjoy a spectacular sunset at Lake Moondara. From here you'll fly up and over the tip of Australia, landing at Horn Island and transferring by boat to Thursday Island. From the Cape head to Cairns and relax in the tropical haven of Port Douglas, before enjoying an optional Outer Reef Cruise or exploring the rainforest of the Cape Tribulation. It's then homeward bound to Brisbane, but not before spending a night in Hamilton Island and taking in the beauty of the Whitsundays.
