Noble Academy Event Focuses on Learning Environments

Noble Academy's next Parent Education Series tackles the topic of Creating Structure At Home For Students With Learning Differences: Building an environment for independence! The event will be held on Tuesday, December 6th at 6:00 pm at the school. Amanda Carter, Head of School, will talk about the importance of creating structure in the home and what that looks like, how that structure is transferred to the child, and when to start teaching specific skills that will be necessary to become contributing members of the household and the community. Festive Family Friday - December 9, 6-9 pm

Take part in Kaleideum’s tradition of live holiday music, crafts celebrating holidays around the word, and not one, but TWO Santas! Make reindeer food, explore a sensory room, and see a holiday laser show. CiCi's Pizza will be selling pizza.

From 5 to 6 pm, Kaleideum will have an Exceptional Hour. Children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities can enjoy the event in a less crowded museum environment.

Tickets: $5 per person online, $7 at the door. The $3 Museums for All price is available the night of the event.

Santa at the Caboose - Sat. Dec. 10

The Rural Hall Historic Train Depot and Railroad Museum is excited to announce that Santa Claus will be visiting the Depot on Saturday, December 10, from 6:00 until 8:30 p.m. Children of all ages will enjoy visiting with Santa in the little red caboose; hearing—and perhaps singing—Christmas songs; partaking in hot cider and train-shaped cookies; frolicking in the “snow;” and exploring the Depot’s updated displays and gallery.
