Palm Sunday Hosanna

The Gospel for this Sunday:

Luke 22:14--23:56

Passion

The voice of the suffering savior, Jesus, can be heard in the prophet Isaiah’s words and the pleading of the psalm. We are invited into the agony of our Lord in the extended reading of the story of Jesus’ passion. In the second reading, we who have put on Christ in holy baptism are urged to let the mind of Christ be our own. Lent leads us to this holy moment. Embrace it.

This is the Adult Ed session you wait for all year! Our own Sally Averkamp, a Master Gardener of 30 years and LELC member, shows and tells how to create spring beauty. Sally will describe ongoing efforts to create the Color Wheel Garden at 5201 Fen Oak Dr., the headquarters for the Dane Co. Extension and Master Gardens. The Color Wheel Garden includes 6 gardens of one color and was redesigned 3 years ago to include over 800 plants of 80 varieties, a showcase for the Master Gardener program.
