We've written up 10 lesson plans for you to use in your classroom! We cover topics across the spectrum. Spanish, Physics, Digitial Citizenship, Music - it's all there. Over the next three days we'll be releasing a few lesson each day, so stay tuned!

The lesson plans are there for you to run with. They are rich resources full of videos, Scratch games and templates. Please use them as a platform to create great new learning experiences.

The lessons are designed for English speakers globally, but for US based teachers we have highlighted the relevant Common Core and NGSS standards for each lesson plan.

Appropriate for grade levels ES to HS

Combine Makey Makey with a webcam to create candid stories about your classroom. In this lesson you can also learn how students can write out short tableaus and create GIF cards for visualizing ideas in a text or even vocabulary reinforcement.Tableaus also work for other contents. Social studies teachers can use this lesson for understanding historical events and science teachers could ask students to act out scientific ideas and concepts.

Distance Rate and Time for Math/Science/Physics

How does acceleration change from a downward drop, to a flat surface, to an uphill ramp? With Makey Makey and Scratch you can measure the change in rate over your desired distance and catch the correct time as your toy car drives over simple DIY switches.
