April brings new life and a bustle of activity to our New England landscape. It also brings exciting new changes in my own journey. I am enrolled in the Master Naturalist Program with the CT Audubon Society and couldn't be more thrilled to enhance my education while mucking about sanctuaries, bird watching, identifying plants and wildlife as my roots in conservation dig deeper into this beautiful earth. Life is precious. Never perfect. Find joy in your journey.

Painting of the Week
As I continue with my wildlife paintings, I can not ignore a few others that are patiently waiting for my return. This shepherd is going to get some TLC and will, hopefully be ready for his debut at Open Studios.

April Happenings

Welcome Reception. The original watercolor, "Midnight Rose" will be on display. A tribute to mothers, she represents the beauty and strength that gives us confidence and independence.
