CARDIO TENNIS UPDATE

We have updated our pricing for Cardio Tennis starting in December. This is a great fitness class featuring drills and skills that give you a whole body workout. All ages are welcome. No tennis experience is required to enjoy this class! Cardio Tennis classes are on Thursdays at noon and Saturdays at 8:00 AM.

New Rates and no drop-in fees: $12 - members; $15 - non-members

NEW MEN'S SINGLES 3.5-4.5 LEAGUE

Stay in shape for the winter with competitive play by joining Jim Nelson, Director of Tennis for his new men's singles league on Wednesday nights from 7:30-9:00.
Cost is $18/ per night (charged individually) and includes balls and 1.5 hours of play. Players will be asked to commit for a month at a time and schedules will be emailed out to all participants on Mondays. If not able to play your match on Wednesday nights, you can reschedule your match for that week with your opponent at any time convenient for both of you during that week. For more details, please call the club.

FIRST ANNUAL TURKEY BURN

Bring your favorite friend or family member and join us this Friday morning, November 29 from 10:30 AM -12:30 PM The event includes organized play, fun games on court, and a special Black Friday Promo drawing for all Turkey Burners. Stay for a potluck lunch if you can.

Cost: $16/ per person - no guest fees if you come with a member

GUEST FEES WAIVED OVER THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

We will be closed Thanksgiving Day, November 28, but we would love to meet your family and friends on the court November 29-31. All non-member guest fees will be waived for players showing up with a member.

ASPEN JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS TOURNAMENT

Aspen will hold its first Junior Championship Tournament on Saturday, December 7 from 2pm to 5pm for youth ages 10-18. This event is open to all juniors, all ages and abilities. You don't have to be a member to play. Call the club for more details and to sign up. The deadline for registration is Thursday, December 5. The draws and times for players will be posted on Friday, December 6.

UTR Holiday One Day Camp

Saturday, December 14th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Aspen will host a one-day co-ed holiday camp for youth of all levels in grades 7-12. The camp will be co-directed by Ohio State Asst. Men's Tennis Coach, David Schilling and Denison University's Head Women' Coach, Jamie Nelson Scott.

Camp highlights include:
* Advanced tennis training/ strategy work
* Teaching the "First 4 Shot Approach"
* Momentum tennis
* Percentage netplay
* Offensive/ defensive stats
* Off-Court UTR educational seminar
* Tips on the path to collegiate tennis

Aspen will host a USTA sanctioned tournament for juniors of all ages up to 18 years. Singles play, double elimination. Call the club to sign up or click the link below!

JUNIOR HOLIDAY MINI CAMPS

We will be hosting two mini camps during the holidays for juniors, giving youth opportunities to improve skills or try the sport for the first time. All levels and guests are welcome!

SESSION I
Monday, Thursday and Friday: December 23, 26 & 27
10:30 AM - 2:00 PM

SESSION II
Monday, Thursday and Friday: December 30, January 2 & 3
10:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Cost is $180 for both sessions ($30 per day); $105 for each Thursday-Friday Session ($35 per day); and $40 per individual day.
