Make Back to School Special!

The YMCA Backpack Campaign helps make back to school special for kids whose families may be struggling to make ends meet. Branches of the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina gather backpacks and school supplies to ensure every student starts the school year ready to learn. July 15 through August 15, new members can join the Y for a $0 joining fee when they donate a new backpack. You can join the Y online at ymcanwnc.org – just don’t forget to bring a new, unused backpack to donate on your first visit! Now when you join the Y, you can visit any branch in North Carolina and Virginia as part of your membership.

Infant Room at B’nai Shalom Day School

B’nai Shalom is very excited to announce the opening of an Infant Room this August. Babies from 8 weeks old will be lovingly tended to by childcare specialists in their licensed facility. Bnai’s state-of-the art infant room will encourage babies to explore new things and reach developmental milestones in a loving and comfortable setting. Cool Summer Fun at the Greensboro Ice House!
