What Would You Do with $1Million? Don't Wait-Participate!

You Can Decide How to Improve the 22nd and 26th Districts in Queens!

For the last nine months, the community has been asked: "How would you spend $1 million?"

Now through April 19th you can vote on up to five projects you want to see funded.

District 22 includes the neighborhoods of Astoria, Woodside and part of Jackson Heights.

District 26 includes the neighborhoods of Long Island City, Ravenswood, Sunnyside and Woodside.

Join your local T.A. to work on creating a separate pedestrian and bike line on the Pulaski Bridge, Traffic Calming on 21st Street, and Queens Blvd.

Transportation Alternatives Queens Committee advocates on behalf of cyclists, pedestrians, and mass transit users, in Queens.

All Hands on Dock! For the past month NCA has been constructing the Living Dock – a floating structure to provide much needed habitat for marine wildlife in Newtown Creek.

They need as many able hands as possible to move this 180 sq foot structure to the water.
