We are in the 2nd half of our 13th season of teaching the art of dance, and classes are off to a great start! This edition of the NHPA II eNews brings you information about upcoming happenings for the Spring semester. Please read through the eNews carefully, click on the links for more information, and let us know any feedback or questions you have. We're happy to be back sharing the art of dance with you!

Feb 12-23:The Teachers will be measuring the dancers in class for Recital Costumes.
February 15: Recital Fees due for all students wishing to participate in NHPA II's 13th Annual Recital; $35 per student (this does not include costume fees).
February 19: President's Day; NHPA II will be OPEN for regularly scheduled classes.

March 12-18: Studio closed for Spring Break.

Tentative event dates for May/June 2017 (dates will be confirmed in March)
May 26: Recital Class pictures & Company pictures @ NHPA II
May 28: Studio closed for Memorial Day
June 2: Recital Dress Rehearsals @ NHPA II (2 shows)
June 8-9: NHPA II 13th Annual Recital performances @ North Shore Senior High School (tentative until venue confirms)

Below is a tentative timeline with tidbits of information about the events leading up to and including NHPA II's 13th Annual Recital at the end of this Spring semester. All dates should be confirmed in March once the performance venue sends us confirmation. Keep in mind that all Recital classes will be divided into 2 shows, and a list will be posted at the end of this month detailing the "separation of shows".
Please read through the timeline carefully and mark your calendars!

Feb. 15: Recital Fees are due

Students wishing to perform in NHPA II's 13th Annual Recital will need to remit a $35 Recital Fee payment (per student) by Thursday Feb. 15 to confirm their participation. Those students who have not paid their Recital Fees by Feb. 15 will not have a costume ordered for them and therefore will not be able to participate in the Recital performance.

Month of March: Recital Costumes ordered; Costume Fees due

Recital Costumes will be ordered towards the beginning of March, and payments for those costumes will start coming due towards the middle & end of March. Costumes typically run $70-$80 per class.

April & May: FINALE production Rehearsals!

All students in (7-8yrs) classes and older are invited to participate in the NHPA II FINALE production which performs at the closing of each Recital show. A sign-up sheet will be posted in April, and students will need to be available for these extra rehearsals on weekends throughout the months of April, May & June leading up to the show.

May 26: Recital Class pictures @ NHPA II

All students will take full Recital class pictures at NHPA II on Saturday May 26. Students may also sign up to take individual photos this weekend. Picture schedule will be posted at the beginning of May.

June 2: Recital Dress Rehearsals @ NHPA II

Each Recital show will have a full Dress Rehearsal at NHPA II on Saturday June 2.

June 9-10th Annual Recital performances!

NHPA II's 13th Annual Recital performances will be held in 2 shows at North Shore Senior H.S. (tentative until confirmed in March).
