Well, save a stamp if you are sending to a church family member! It's easy to use our card box! Just drop your addressed cards in to easily share your Christmas greetings. Our Christmas Box is on the table in the Great Room by the bulletin board. Place your cards in there on Sunday mornings or any time during the week that the building is open. During the week, we will get the cards out and sort them into your Family File Folder, located in the black file box at the front desk. Then, each Sunday, check your Family File Folder to see if you have anything waiting for you! The file folders will always be available at the desk, anytime you have "mail" for a church family member. (If you don't see a Family File Folder with your name, that means we don't have your contact info. Please let us know you are missing, send in your info, and we will gladly fix the box right up! Thanks!) | Drop your cards here... | we'll get them sorted into here! | | | Prayer For whom are you praying today? How can we pray for you? We are here to pray with and for you, anytime! Prayer needs sent by early Monday morning will be included in the weekly Joys & Concerns email. We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "Thanksgiving came and went – seemed like it flew by. I am officially one year older and thankful for all of God’s blessings during the year. We have about three weeks left until Christmas. Such a wonderful time of the year. Hope you have started new traditions and are merging with old traditions. This is leading me right into my WORD for the week!" "It is “GATHER” and I felt it so strong on my heart. Have we gotten so busy that we have missed our chance to “gather” together with our friends and family? Don’t miss your chance. I was listening to a song by Selah, “At This Table” – listen if you can this week. It speaks volumes of how much we are missing. I am going to do everything in my power to “gather” more from now on. Stop doing all the busyness and enjoy each other. Time is so short, and we can all use a little time to just “gather” and get to know each other just a little bit more. The scripture I used this week comes from after Jesus was resurrected. He was on the shore when Peter saw Him – he jumped in the water and did everything he could to get to Jesus – and although Peter he had denied Jesus three times – Guess what Jesus said to him? Breakfast is ready – what!!!! No matter what we do or have done – Jesus wants us all to “gather” together and enjoy each other. No, we all don’t think alike, believe alike, act alike – but we are all sons and daughters of the Most High God and we need to “gather” with each other to help one another, encourage one another, love one another, share our tears with one another, lift each other up – not tear down. The Word this week makes me so happy and smile. I am longing to “gather” with each of you – when I can. Jesus said, “Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught.” Simon Peter joined them and pulled the net to shore -153 big fish! And even with all those fish, the net didn’t rip. Jesus said, “Breakfast is ready.” Not one of the disciples dared ask, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Master. ~ John 21:11-14 (MSG) | 2022 Year-End Contributions The Finance Committee reminds you that, to be included in 2022, contributions need to be received or postmarked by December 31.
