Walter Alza Became the first Latin/Argentinean/Canadian to start in a series in Canada in Metropia, this show changed the way casting is done in Canada. In this show Walter learned an Invaluable lesson, how to shoot 23 pages a day.

As a filmmaker Walter's feature film debut was sold to 8 different networks across Canada including TMN, Rogers where it aired in Pay Per View and VOD and 7 other
networks. Walter directed and produced the winner of the Best Foreign Film in Nevada Film Festival 2010 "Clive Houston, We Have a Problem" - an edgy comedy. Walter Alza is currently developing various films and web series.

On Canada's day The City of Toronto has awarded a Certificate of Distinction to Walter Alza for his Community work and contribution to the Multicultural Mosaic of the Greater Mega City Of Toronto and G.T.A.
Among Alza’s many awards and nominations is the ReelWorld Trailblazer Award,
presented to an individual in the film and video industry who is finding new ways to approach the craft, who represents a voice contributing to the cultural diversity that makes Canada a vibrant country, and a professional making great strides. The recipient of the 2004 Award of Merit from the Multi Mansions Association. Alza involves himself in many humanitarian events and charities, such as the Latin Talent Fashion Show--a fundraiser for Colombian streets kids, and the Miss Albania 2004 pageant with proceeds to the Multi Mansions Association for the handicapped and the Kids Albanian Community. Alza founded United Millennium, an annual event where artists from different disciplines, including filmmakers, showcase their work and network.
