Walter Alza Became the first Latin/Argentinean/Canadian to start in a series in Canada in Metropia, this show changed the way casting is done in Canada. In this show Walter learned an Invaluable lesson, how to shoot 23 pages a day.

Awards & Charities In 2004 Alza was The first Latin-Canadian to be cast in a Lead in a series in Canadian history.
On Canada's day The City of Toronto has awarded a Certificate of Distinction to Walter Alza for his Community work and contribution to the Multicultural Mosaic of the Greater Mega City Of Toronto and G.T.A.

Alza founded United Millennium, an annual event where artists from different disciplines, including filmmakers, showcase their work and network.
