Messing, Edward M. | The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) has acknowledged the public officials who have issued resolutions and proclamations declaring their support for May as Bladder Cancer Awareness Month. “Raising awareness of bladder cancer is critical to savings lives and we are grateful to our concerned elected officials for helping BCAN increase knowledge of this disease,” said Andrea Maddox-Smith, CEO of BCAN. “It is gratifying to have their support.” BCAN has a wealth of activities happening during #BladderCancerAwarenessMonth from national walks to public service announcements, and increased education to a greater emphasis on strengthening the bladder cancer community. It is not too late to get involved! On Thursday, May 16 at 7pm (EDT), there is a patient insight webinar entitled “How Patients Can Partner with Their Physicians to Optimize Treatment Outcomes.” It will be led by Sarah P.
