Aug. 11: Bill Helsel On His Photography

Bill Helsel will show and talk about some of his favorite photographs, explain how they were made, and discuss several different ways to make infrared photos at the monthly El Cerrito Art Association meeting at 7 p.m. on August 11 at the El Cerrito Community Center.

The meeting will be held in the Garden Room of the El Cerrito Community Center, 7007 Moeser Lane, El Cerrito. The evening begins at 7 p.m. with social time. Mini Art Show entries will be accepted from 7 to 7:15 p.m. and voting follows. The presentation begins at 7:30 p.m.

Call To Artists: 2014 Annual Art Show & Sale

It’s time to enter the ECAA Annual Art Show and Sale, which will be Oct. 3, 4 and 5 at the El Cerrito Community Center, 7007 Moeser Lane. The non-juried show is open to ECAA members and non-members and invites entries in 12 categories including media ranging from painting to drawing to photography to 3-D art.

Entries due Saturday, Sept. 20.
